WHAT IT ADDS —

What the New Machine Adds.

A flying shear cut-to-length machine levels sheet and cuts it to length while the material is in motion, so the line does not stop for each cut. For buyers the effect is capacity and format: 1,000 additional tonnes per month, and a wider working envelope — sheet to 1,600 mm wide and 6.0 m long, from 0.4 mm to 3.0 mm thick.

HOW THE LINE RUNS —

How the Line Runs.

In the sequence recorded at the plant, panels are lifted and positioned by a gantry vacuum-lift loader, pass through precision levelling rolls, and travel on roller conveyors to the cut-to-length stage. Operators monitor the process from a floor-standing HMI console showing the process flow and live parameters, with a handheld pendant and light curtains guarding access points. Sheet leaves the line with a high-reflectance finish; in the video the outfeed surface reflects the workshop lighting and the structure above it.

LARGE-FORMAT PROJECTS —

What It Means for Large-Format Projects.

Large-format stainless steel is usually specified where joint lines matter — facades, column casings, lift interiors and long wall panels. Cutting longer and wider sheet on a dedicated line reduces the number of transverse joints a panel layout requires and shortens the processing route for large formats. The machine extends a processing base at the Hangzhou plant covering 58,000 m², with more than 20 production lines and over 210 employees; MetalMagus has supplied architectural stainless steel to customers in more than 60 countries since 2001.

FAQ —

Frequently Asked Questions.

It levels stainless steel sheet and cuts it to length while the material is moving, so the line does not stop for each cut. It is installed at the Hangzhou plant and entered production in mid-September 2026.

Sheet up to 1,600 mm wide, in lengths from 4.2 m to 6.0 m, in thicknesses from 0.4 mm to 3.0 mm, held to a flatness tolerance of ±2–3 mm. The machine adds up to 1,000 tonnes of capacity per month.

Installation was completed at the end of July 2026 and the machine was brought into production in mid-September 2026.
